The purpose of studying English in the Educational System is the development of the learner's communicative competence as well as the knowledge, skills, abilities, values and competences of a 21st century citien. This requires the implementation of innovate communicative language teaching methodologies. These methodologies ae supported by principles established in the Common European Framework of Reference for languaes (CEFR), the Action-Oriented Approach and the Educating for a New Citizenship Policy pillars: Sustainable Development, DIgital Citizenship and Global Citizenship
